Testing for chronic wasting disease is voluntary. Drop samples at the Game and Fish office (432 E. Mill St.), the Pinedale Transfer Station, the Sublette County Landfill near Big Piney, Kampfire Meats in Big Piney, or The Elkhorn in Bondurant. Results take about three weeks.
Pinedaily rechecks each item against the agency or organizer that published it and keeps stories only while the original report still changes a travel, fire, or calendar decision.
