Put Pinedaily on your phone

Add Pinedaily to your home screen and it opens like an app, full screen with its own icon. The pages you open in it keep working when you lose signal. There’s nothing to download from the App Store or Google Play.

iPhone and iPad

Add it from Safari

  1. Open pinedaily.com in Safari.
  2. Tap the Share button, the square with an arrow pointing up. If you don't see it, tap ••• next to the address bar, then tap Share.
  3. Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen. If it isn't there, tap View More first.
  4. If you see Open as Web App, leave it switched on. Then tap Add, and Pinedaily's icon shows up on your home screen.

In Chrome on iPhone, tap the Share button at the right end of the address bar, then Add to Home Screen.

Android

Add it from Chrome

  1. Open pinedaily.com in Chrome.
  2. Tap the ⋮ menu in the top right corner.
  3. Tap Install and create shortcut. On older versions of Chrome it says Install app or Add to home screen.
  4. Tap Install, not Create shortcut. Pinedaily's icon shows up with your other apps.

In Samsung Internet, tap the ☰ menu at the bottom right, tap Add page to, then Home screen.

Taking it off

Press and hold the Pinedaily icon and choose the option to remove it, the same way you’d remove any app. The website keeps working in your browser.
